Martynas Bucius: Diesel AK's Home-Grown Muay Thai Fighter
Meet Martynas Bucius, the Woolwich Muay Thai fighter who became the first to represent Diesel AK in a major live-streamed N-Class fight, and won by TKO on his debut.
We are proud to introduce Martynas Bucius, a Muay Thai fighter who came up entirely through Diesel AK in Woolwich.
Martynas keeps a low profile and we know little about his background. We do know that he was training at Artillery Kai in Woolwich before it merged with Diesel Gym, and he has trained at Diesel AK since the day it opened. All of his fight training has happened at our gym.
Hard work, smart fighting
Martynas trains hard and fights smart. He is proof of what consistent work in our Muay Thai classes can produce: a fighter developed from the ground up by Diesel AK coaches and training partners.
First to represent Diesel AK in a major N-Class fight
Martynas was the first fighter to represent Diesel AK in a major N-Class Muay Thai bout. The fight was streamed live on Goated Combat TV.
On his debut he faced Elliot Ross at 75kg and won by TKO. Martynas controlled the clinch throughout and wore his opponent down with repeated knees to the ribs until the fight was stopped.
Watch the fight
Everyone at Diesel AK is behind Martynas as he takes the next steps in his fight career. If you want to train in the same Muay Thai classes, see our Muay Thai classes and class timetable.
