Jack Tyley Targets Nuro Grappling's Inaugural 80kg Title

Jack Tyley, head coach of 10th Planet at Diesel AK Woolwich, will compete for Nuro Grappling’s inaugural 80kg championship on Sunday 30 August 2026.

The title will be decided through an eight-man tournament, with the two finalists meeting in the main event to crown the division’s first champion. Jack has made his intention clear: he is going to Nuro Grappling to bring the belt home.

A title run for Diesel AK’s head coach

Jack is one of the country’s most prolific submission grapplers and brings the kind of active competition experience he passes directly on to the mats at Diesel AK. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and elite no-gi competitor, he has won and defended the Grapple Worlds 75kg Championship and has recorded a 100% submission finish rate in Professional Grappling Federation league victories.

This tournament is another opportunity to see the standard behind the coaching. Everyone at Diesel AK will be behind Jack as he works through a demanding bracket in pursuit of the first Nuro Grappling 80kg title.
